Job Description:

   

The HPEFS Enablement team are looking to recruit a dynamic team player to join us and help drive forward our objectives!  For this newly created position, we are looking to recruit a Sales Activation & Events Enablement Manager to support HPE Financial Services (HPEFS) enablement across HPE, HPI and our channel partners. This hands-on role will involve managing 1) the sales activation process, promoting HPEFS offers, campaigns into HPE, HPI and our channel. 2) Management of our Events plan, coordinating across our organization to ensure when we show up at an event, (industry, HPE, or other) that our team is well prepared and ready to showcase what HPEFS has to offer. Key responsibilities:

  • Sales Activation:
  • Manage HPEFS enablement comms plan to drive sales activation across HPE, HPI and channel teams.
  • Draft clear, audience-appropriate enablement comms (emails, intranet posts, briefings, one-pagers) for internal and partner audiences.
  • Operate the process to cascade enablement information from HPEFS to HPE, HPI and channel teams.
  • Help integrate HPEFS enablement assets into HPE Networking enablement channels and repositories.
  • Coordinate with SMEs to track timelines, gather content, and schedule releases.
  • Prepare draft messaging and materials, manage simple review cycles, and collect approvals for distribution.

  • Event Management
  • Lead project management for all events where HPEFS has agreed to be present.
  • Manage logistical aspects for each event, including venue, travel, scheduling, booth setup, and equipment.
  • Oversee content creation for events, such as agendas, presentations, demos, and other materials.
  • Coordinate attendance, including attendee lists, registrations, and on-site staffing.
  • Provide booth support, including booth design, materials, and lead capture processes.
  • Coordinate customer meetings during events, ensuring timely arrangements and follow-ups.
  • Ensure proper representation at events by preparing and briefing attendees and relevant teams. Ensure attendees are suitably prepared with necessary information, talking points, and materials.
  • Deliver regular status reviews to leaders, briefing them on progress, milestones, risks, and issues.
  • Manage risks, issues, and dependencies related to events and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Monitor and report on key metrics (progress, budget status, outcomes) to leadership.

Required qualifications & skills:

  • 0–3 years’ experience in communications, sales enablement, marketing, project coordination.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple small tasks concurrently.
  • Solid project management skills and tracking timelines across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills; ability to write concise, clear messages for business audiences.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to follow direction while working with SMEs and cross-functional partners.
  • Experience or interest in HPE financial services.
  • Prior exposure to partner/channel communications or sales enablement content. Comfortable learning technical or financial content and translating it into simple, sales-ready messaging.
  • Basic understanding of enablement metrics (opens, downloads, attendance).
  • Moderate knowledge of IT and services industry knowledge of the company's organization, policies, services offerings, end to end processes, tools, and routes to market.
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint, Slack/Teams) and basic project/task tracking tools.

  • Degree or equivalent in Communications, Marketing, Business, English, or r
