Within our Platform Services function, we are now hiring for Maconomy Design Analyst in the Maconomy Global Team. The Maconomy Legacy design team’s main role is to successfully support WPP group companies in deploying Maconomy in new markets, help design and standardise new requests and actively oversee and advise all the Global Maconomy Team, OpCos and third parties to ensure each implementation is a success and system is working as expected.

 

What you'll be doing:

• Maintaining an understanding the application environment at a deep level and all its interconnectivities
• Work with senior stakeholders to assess business needs against the technology product templates and translate needs into high-level solutions
• Understand the implications of certain decisions and make trade-offs in terms of development complexity and timelines
• Create and oversee excellent working relationships with all parties including the Shared Services Centre Approval board and OpCos
• Work closely and oversee with the Global, Regional and third parties to understand the country specifics tax, legal and statutory needs and help design and write the relevant design documents to start the solution design process with Deltek and other third-party suppliers
• Heavy focus on the Maconomy Premier Roadmap to assist the Maconomy Legacy Product Manager in identifying the priorities; working with the OpCos to define the requirements; and coordinating the solution development with WPP IT/Support provider
• Provide clear and concise documentation including Business Design Documents and any audit and compliance updates

 

What you'll need:

• Strong finance and accounting knowledge, qualification desirable
• Technical experience of ERPs, preferably Maconomy
• Project management skills are desirable
• Takes initiative, is a highly motivated, flexible team player with the ability to deliver in a timely and professional manner
• Strong communication and influencing skills to create relationships at executive level across the business
• Strong understanding of the Finance area and its strategy and a good understanding of what success looks like
• Business advocate to drive efficiencies, stabilisation, and continuous improvement
• Can articulate analysis and designs in various formats
• Excellent PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills
• Language skills are a bonus.
