Job Summary
The Sr. Project Manager, Strategic Deal Management is responsible for managing and facilitating various Deal Review Board (DRB) schedules and meetings for all Sales Channels within Comcast Business. Coordinates the activities within a large cross-functional team and follows up with various stakeholders to complete projects. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as resource for colleagues with less experience.Role will be based in Philadelphia at the Comcast Headquarters (1701 John F Kennedy Blvd.) four days per week (one day virtual).
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Leads & Manages Comcast Business Sales Operations in various Deal Review process and meetings.
- Takes ownership of any follow-up needed with various stakeholders to bring any action items to a closure.
- Interfaces with IT and Business Intelligence teams for reporting development and business logic definition.
- Leads & facilitates various Deal Review Board meetings and acts as a single point of contact for status, maintaining communication with stakeholders.
- Manages DRB intake status and information in the form of formal briefings, manage meetings notes, action items and approvals in details.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Program & Project Management
- Collaborates with key stakeholders cross-functionally to manage nonstandard solutions approvals.
- Leverages internal tools for execution (e.g., Jira, Excel, PowerApps, etc.) providing visibility and accountability for team members.
- Escalates risks and drive towards solutions that mitigate risks proactively.
- Looks for opportunities to create efficiencies and improve processes.
- Identifies and manages critical path and risk areas and create risk response and mitigation plans.
Communication
- Ensures visibility of your execution lifecycle leveraging system of record tools (i.e., PowerApps) in doing so.
- Communicates status of updates to indicate on-track, at risk, delayed and articulate proactive mitigation efforts.
- Provides metrics that allow the team to make data-driven decisions about how to operate better and deliver with peak efficiency, predictability, and quality.
- Ensures quality in written and verbal communication that is clear and concise.
- Escalates as required to unblock open issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years relevant experience in project, program, and/or Sales Operations.
- Strong communication skills and a demonstrable ability to speak, listen, and write in a clear, thorough, and timely manner using appropriate and effective communication tools and techniques.
- Proven track record of strong organizational skills. Ability to set priorities, track work, and be transparent.
- Experience extracting and analyzing data to inform an approach or decision.
- Ability to explore innovative ways to address operational or organizational pain points.
- Effective at influencing and leading teams through cooperation and trust to achieve results in the organization's best interest.
- Proficient in Ticketing tools, MS Office suite of products.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or technology related field or equivalent experience.
