Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing engineering organization. You will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining a robust scalable infrastructure and deployment pipelines. Your primary focus will be on streamlining the development and deployment processes, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance of our systems. You will ensure well defined and stable environments include DEV, QA, STAGE, and PROD. You will be responsible for enabling software and quality assurance teams to efficiently integrate and test our software releases. Additionally, you will act as release manager for tagging, merging, planning, and coordinating all software releases. This is a critical role as we scale our SaaS solution features, mature our processes, and add many thousands more customer deployments.  The role is remote and must be in the U.S. Pacific Time zone and ideally in California.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Strong expertise in AWS services and infrastructure.
• Proficient in Jenkins for building and deploying applications.
• In-depth knowledge of GitHub for version control and collaboration.
• Experience with deployment pipelines and release management.
• Solid understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Scripting skills in languages such as Python, Shell, or Ruby.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
