Staff Accountant II

The Staff Accountant II is responsible for managing the day-to-day financial and accounting functions of the brokerage. This role oversees commission disbursements, performs escrow and trust account reconciliations, and manages accounts payable and receivable activities. The Staff Accountant II ensures all financial practices comply with FREC regulations and company accounting standards while maintaining accurate and organized transaction records.

This position prepares regular financial reports for management and supports office operations by monitoring budgets, tracking expenses, and managing agent payments. The Staff Accountant II plays a key role in ensuring smooth and timely closing processes through diligent financial oversight and coordination.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Manage commission disbursements and agent payment processes
• Reconcile escrow and trust accounts
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Ensure compliance with FREC and company accounting standards
• Maintain accurate transaction and financial records
• Prepare and distribute financial reports for management
• Track office budgets, expenses, and financial activities
• Support smooth closing processes through effective financial coordination
