Deere & Company is seeking a Staff Software Engineer in Chicago, IL with the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field plus 3 years related experience. Required skills: Design, develop, and implement the backend of the web application using Java, Spring boot and Spring MVC with Implementing TDD (3 yrs); Create, modify, and maintain the user interface and implement the frontend layer of the single page application (SPA) using JavaScript and React JS library along with ES6 and TypeScript (3 yrs); Create and maintain deployment pipelines to move to code to the servers using Jenkins or Drone for CI/CD pipelines (3 yrs); Use multiple cloud tools provided by services like AWS to deploy the code, maintain the logs, configure the databases (3 yrs). 10% domestic travel required. Must live within normal commuting distance of the worksite. Up to 20% remote work allowed.
