Lead System Architect - Pega Customer Service

A Lead System Architect will actively contribute to the success of client engagements through industry knowledge, Pega product knowledge, and proven experience owning the technical delivery on projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical scoping, design, development, and implementation of Pega solutions, ensuring high quality and optimal performance.
• Collaborate with the development team and wider project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance t the development team, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback and recommendations for improvements.
• Own technical documentation e.g. design documents, case type backlog, runbooks, upgrade assessments and other related materials.
• Define and implement technical governance processes related to Pega application development and deployment.
• Stay current with evolving trends related to Pega solutions.
• Provide training, support and appraisals to other team members as needed.

Who We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years of experience in Pega software development.
• Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) from at least v7 onwards - MANDATORY
• Strong technical skills in Pega software development, including full implementation experience with Pega platform and Pega Customer Service - MANDATORY
• Experience working as a Pega tech lead on Financial Services projects, leading onsite and/or offshore team members - MANDATORY
• Project experience with DevOps, automated testing, security testing, upgrades
• Experience developing solutions using other Pega strategic applications e.g. CLM, or Pega Decisioning is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other teams and stakeholders.
• Proven experience with agile best practices, specifically Pega Express and Scrum.
