JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervision- Oversee staff in the absence of a supervisor. Assist in responding to the 24/7 Materials Management support pager. Assist in the training of employees. Act as a resource within the department for solving complex problems and troubleshooting problem areas.
Workday- Maintain thorough knowledge of Workday and how to access all functions quickly. Maintain the accuracy of inventory. Perform routine inspection of item expiration dates to maintain the integrity of inventory quality and safety. Perform routine cycle counts as directed to maintain accurate inventory levels.
Supply Chain- Perform tasks related to receiving, storing and distributing of products, materials, equipment and supplies. Maintain a working knowledge of supplies. Make recommendations for additions, deletions or changes in par levels based on knowledge of supplies needed and usage. Order stock and non-stock items associated with assigned areas. Check goods received against purchase orders, invoices and records. Deliver materials to appropriate area and store.
Replenishment- Replenish materials supplies in all storage locations, may include the clinical areas through the use of Pyxis automated refill orders, handheld devices, or par sheets. Process and issue orders in PeopleSoft as needed including Nurse Supplier, phone, fax, ePro, walk up, and Pyxis orders. Issue credits to appropriate departments for inventory supplies returned.
Reporting- Run and analyze inventory reports. Assist in performance measurement tracking for departmental statistics.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
High School Graduate OR Equivalent
5+ years of work experience in a related job discipline.
Preferred: Supply chain certifications (e.g. CMRP)
