Description
As the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will have a hand in shaping the future of DOMA Technologies by sourcing and securing the best talent available, specifically in technology, project management and health information. The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruiting lifecycle; helping to build a strong employer brand; and attracting high-performing, experienced candidates using multiple sources that build strong applicant resource channels. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition in specified markets, proficiency with applicant tracking systems, and an ability to devise sourcing strategies for potential applicants. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills for working closely with others across various departments.
Requirements
- Create an extraordinary candidate experience to every single candidate regardless of hiring status.
- Performs full-cycle recruitment including advertisement, candidate sourcing, resume and application review, phone/video screening of qualified applicants, interviews and initiates employment offers.
- Perform targeted sourcing for highly specialized roles leveraging advanced sourcing tools and techniques.
- Identifies, explores, and executes effective tactics for sourcing and screening candidates.
- Partner with hiring managers and Human Resources to ensure a collaborative relationship for recruiting initiatives.
- Provide input to ensure that teams consist of diverse, qualified individuals.
- Ensure that staffing needs are being met with a long-term strategy in mind.
- Form close relationships with hiring managers to ensure clear expectations for candidates and interviewers.
- Focus on continuous process improvement.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and candidate selection criteria.
- Devise and implement sourcing strategies, such as an employer branding initiative, to build pipelines for potential applicants.
- Understands and communicates labor market conditions and the impact on availability of talent in the market; proactively adjusts recruiting strategies to ensure hiring goals are achieved.
- Organize and attend various recruitment functions for the organization, including job fairs, open houses, and national conferences to build strong candidate pipelines.
- Ensures all recruitment and hiring functions comply with federal and state employment laws and are in line with company guidelines and policies.
- Manages appropriate candidate tracking and reporting in Applicant Tracking System.
- Maintain and track KPI’s, statistics and analytics for recruiting initiatives.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications
A strong candidate will be able to demonstrate a history of actively sourcing technology focused roles such as software engineers, solution architects, data scientists, and other comparable roles. In addition, a history of sourcing senior executive roles and business development roles in the Federal contracting market is highly desired.
- 5+ years of experience in a talent acquisition in a Federal contracting environment
- Significant experience in full-cycle recruiting, with a focus on technology, business development, and executive roles is required
- Experience in recruiting cleared roles is highly desired.
- Proficiency with social media, resume databases and professional networks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational and problem-solving skills, along with a strong customer service focus.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a high volume of open requisitions.
- General knowledge of employment best practices and compliance laws.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
