Roles and Responsibilities:
Job Summary/Overview:
As a member of our Customer Quality organization, you’ll join as a leader for the Customer Service team supporting foundry customers from Quality side at our Austin and/or Taylor sites. The role of our Foundry Customer Service Team is to work with our customers and internal stakeholders to ensure quality goals are achieved. This includes collaborating on continuous improvement projects and resolution of quality issues.
In this position you will report to the Customer Project Management Leader with focus on providing trust and satisfaction to SAS Foundry Customers.

Specific Job Duties:
- Resides in Samsung Austin Semiconductor Austin office to manage Customer Service team and also act as Quality interface with Foundry Customers & other functional teams in Samsung
- Manage all customer Quality interface meetings (Conf call, F2F, QQR, Audits etc.,) and internal meetings
-Compile and deliver regular customer quality updates including facilitating request from customers for onsite meeting and audits.
-Support alignment of organizational business practices with industry quality standards and customer quality agreements/expectations.
-Review customer quality scorecards and work with internal business units to implement continuous improvement actions that enhance quality performance.
-Communicate and work with customers and internal stakeholders on quality issues/events to disposition material and develop/share corrective and preventative actions that reduce/eliminate reoccurrence risk.
-Administer Process Change Notification (PCN) business process between internal teams and customers.
Skills and Qualifications:
Education, Training, Certification(s) and Minimum years of experience required
- Bachelor's in Science or Engineering required with a Master's or PhD degree highly desired.
- Requires 10+ years of related experience in Semiconductor process, product or device engineering with Bachelor's,
7+ years with Master's or 5+ years with Ph.D.
- Prior Customer Quality or Supplier Quality experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Software, and Tools
- Working knowledge of 45nm and below technology basic process integration, device physics, reliability, product eng, testing
- Basic knowledge of all unit processes including thin films deposition, lithography, etch, diffusion, wet process, Cu plating, and CMP.
- Understanding of the interactions between process and yield and reliability.
- FinFET technology experiences are preferred to be added value
- Previous work experience with major semiconductor foundry or Integrated Device Manufacturer companies preferred
