Spare Parts Coordinator III (LCS)
As a spare parts clerk you are responsible for maintaining the inventory of our spare parts room. You make sure all parts are available, organized and sorted. You ensure that any spare parts stock issues get identified and resolved. You prepare spare parts kits for the maintenance technicians to do their work efficiently.
Job Description
Exercise safe working practice at all times, complying with Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures.
Develop service supporting tools and means
Administrate spare parts in CMMS system
Follow procedures to handle warranty parts
Follow procedures to handle broken parts
Follow obsolete parts procedures: ensure parts are taken out of inventory
Ensure spare parts stock is of good quality: perform regular checks that the parts are still good for use.
Research and Request spare parts as required
Perform Inventory Counts and correct any discrepancies found
Ensure stock is kept sufficient and correct.
Works fully independently on site on preventive maintenance work
Provides input for improvements for spare parts management.
Identify parts that need to be restocked and ensure purchasing process is initiated
Handle spare parts deliveries: Receive and restock spare parts in store rooms and in CMMS
Research parts required by maintenance technicians
Administration of used spare parts
Timely replenishment of spare parts: ensure stock levels are kept below minimum required.
Coordinate vehicle and equipment maintenance.
Required Education and Experience:
Basic technical or logistical education
Experience with inventory keeping
Minimum of 1 years’ experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance
Requires understanding of electrical and mechanical drawings/prints
Valid Drivers License
Other Requirements:
Must be able to attain and sustain an Airport ID Badge, CBP Seal, Escort privilege, and Airport Driver Icon.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to work with computers (Microsoft Office, CMMS systems)
Minimum 1 year CMMS experience
Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
Ability to keep inventory correct both physically and in CMMS parts inventory system.
Speaking, Reading and writing skills in English.
