Operations Specialist, Retail Implementation

PharmaCann, Inc. owns and operates best-in-class production facilities and retail dispensaries for cannabis-based products. We currently operate in the States of Illinois, New York, Massachusetts, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Colorado and Michigan as a medical and/or adult use cannabis provider to patients and customers. Job Summary
The Operations Specialist, Retail Implementation will source, analyze and manage all projects related to data collection, data management and information technology that will improve the performance of our business through efficient operations. This person will serve as a liaison between the business and technical data aspects of assigned projects. This position will ensure compliance with all regulations while identifying and implementing process improvements to develop consistency and strengthen the brand.
Essential Functions/ Responsibilities
- Source, analyze and prepare data to make positive recommendations that will improve the company’s day to day
and long term operational goals - Manages assigned data and maintains current projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule and scope of
project in a timely manner - Formulates, maintains, and executes proposals for assigned projects including project objectives, staffing
requirements for implementation, technology requirements, timeline and funding requirements - Outlines and tracks project landmarks; manages unforeseen delays, and realigns schedules and expectations to
meet project deadlines - Establishes and implements project communication plans, providing status updates to affected cross functional
business partners and the field - Collects, analyzes and summarizes information and trends as needed to prepare project status reports
- Oversee data specific initiatives and improvements on a state-by-state level to ensure compliance with all
required regulations and cross functional requirements. - Utilize data analysis to identify behavioral and operational best practices to align and drive process improvement
- Analyze data to prepare business strategies that will positively impact day to day operations and provide long
term growth and stability - Work with cross-divisional teams to align on strategic objectives, goals, and operational plans.
- Evaluate and eliminate risk by testing internal controls and processes to identify opportunities for best practices
and more efficient operational strategies (e.g., cash, technical, inventory, and other areas as assigned). - Establish and implement operational standards and procedures for retail staff; educate the field on the
technicalities of the procedures and prepare reports of findings and recommendations for Retail leaders that
include follow up plans. - Assure that staff within all divisions of responsibility have a thorough understanding of our corporate processes,
SOPs, and assist with providing education in areas that need to be addressed. - Provide leadership, training, guidance, and support to team members that foster continuous learning and
improvements. - Operate automated call distribution phone software, email, online chat, website, dispensary directory, social
media and other means as determined to deliver excellent customer service and provide support to end users - Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community.

objectives. - Performs other related duties as assigned
Competencies and Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age (or per state regulation).
- High school diploma with at least three years of retail experience required; Bachelor’s Degree in business,
operations management, or a related field is preferred. - Store management experience required with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in training, quality, customer
service and or inventory control within a retail environment. - 1-year PharmaCann supervisory experience will be considered in lieu of 2 years.
- Thorough understanding of project management principles and planning
- Thorough understanding of information technology procedures and practices
- Proficient with, or able to quickly become proficient with, a range of general and specialized applications,
software, and hardware used in the organization and in the industry - Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite.
