Job Description

The expected salary is $240,000 - $250,000 USD per year.

Join our powerful and diverse team at Jellyfish, where we share a common goal of using data to inspire clients, partners, and each other.

As the Regional VP, Investment Analytics you will lead the development of actionable knowledge-driven insights and analyses in marketing optimizations. You will build and leverage findings from marketing mix models, causal impact studies, and other statistically sound testing approaches. You will provide strategic recommendations grounded in statistics to key business stakeholders. You will also collaborate cross-functionally with other teams to plan data-driven marketing solutions to deliver results for global clients. You will pitch new and existing data science products to new and existing clients, focusing on innovation and value proposition. You will also be responsible for mentoring, guiding, and monitoring the progress of team members.

Qualifications

Master's in Statistics, Data Science, Actuarial Science or closely related field

Plus 5 years of experience in the offered position or a business intelligence or marketing

analytics role in advertising agency or advertising technology firm*

All required experience must have included:

• Leading development of marketing optimization solutions based on data-driven

insights from marketing analytics;

• Running marketing mix models and client engagements using understanding of

media measurement planning process and range of media measurement

approaches;

• Performing advanced analytics including machine learning, algorithms,

distribution analysis, multivariate/logistic regression analysis, Bayesian

shrinkage, ensemble models, factor analysis, sales forecasting, advertising

effectiveness, and media simulation and optimization;

• Applying understanding of ad tech ecosystem, media planning, and media metrics

(both digital and traditional), including media (impression, GRP, CPV) and

measurement analytics, and multi-touch attribution;

• Using query languages (SQL, Hive or Pig), visualization tool Tableau, and data

science tools (R, Weka, NumPy, Matlab, or Python).
