Entry Level Customer Service Assistant

SalesBizLab We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Entry Level Customer Service Assistant. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and support. As an Entry Level Customer Service Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, helping to address their inquiries, resolve issues, and provide assistance with our products and services.

Monday to Friday

Weekends free

Pay Range:

$17.50 - $28.00 hourly

THIS WILL BE AN ON-SITE JOB

Location: Jersey City, NJ

Responsibilities: 

• Assist customers via phone, email, or chat to address inquiries and provide information about products and services.
• Resolve customer issues by identifying the root cause and providing effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
• Document customer interactions and feedback in our customer relationship management (CRM) system.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all customer needs are met and exceeded.
• Assist in training new team members as needed, sharing knowledge and best practices.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• Ability to problem-solve effectively and think critically under pressure.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Familiarity with computers and basic software applications, including word processors and spreadsheet programs.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
