About the role

The selected candidate will serve in a system engineering role providing support to the Government Financial & Resource Management organization to develop and configure a COTS product – Clarity PPM – to provide modern program and portfolio management capabilities to the end users. This position is part of a contractor-led team working collaboratively to configure a commercial product to meet specific functional requirements, engage with end users and deploy the new solution to the enterprise. The individual is expected to be a self-starter and willing to take on new challenges. Primary responsibilities will be facilitating scrum activities and sprint initiatives, communicating between team members and the customer, responding to customer requests, close collaboration with the product owner and contractor technical lead on backlog planning and implementing changes. Additionally, supporting testing and training efforts as needed. The position does not require existing experience with the specific COTS technology; however, the role requires quickly learning the commercial tool.TS/SCI PolyFourteen (14) years' experience as an SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.d. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
