Position Overview:

The Lead Product Manager to shape the future of technology platforms within our Retail Banking and Wealth Management business, driving platform strategy and delivering measurable improvements in customer value. In this role, you will operate as a recognized product authority, guiding cross-functional teams through complex product decisions and influencing strategic outcomes at scale. This is a high-impact opportunity to define KPIs, lead innovation experiments, and steer platform product portfolios at one of the world's leading financial services institutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the product strategy for platform components within a large-scale technology portfolio, setting release goals and defining business requirements that align with broader organizational objectives.
  • Define, track, and report on KPIs for platform products, using data and benchmarking research to measure success and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Identify and lead innovation initiatives, including test-and-learn experiments, to develop platform capabilities that increase customer value across Retail Banking and Wealth Management.
  • Make informed trade-off decisions across multiple platform products, balancing competing priorities to maximize portfolio impact.
  • Develop detailed product and IT delivery plans — including schedules, resource plans, and project estimates — and present progress to senior leadership and client management teams.
  • Evaluate complex business and system processes against industry standards, recommending and overseeing improvements that deliver meaningful business outcomes.
  • Coach and mentor junior analysts, allocating work effectively and fostering a culture of strong product practice across the team.
  • Uphold ethical standards and regulatory compliance in all product decisions, proactively identifying and escalating risk with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in product management, e-commerce, or strategic planning, with a track record of leading complex, multi-stakeholder product initiatives.
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, and other product management tools as part of day-to-day delivery workflows.
  • Experience using AI tools to support requirements gathering, user story documentation, and impact analysis.
  • Background in retail banking or wealth management, with an understanding of customer-facing financial products and services.
  • Ability to build and interpret complex business and transactional models to inform product decisions and strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams, communicating product vision clearly to technical and non-technical audiences alike.
  • Broader exposure to AI and machine learning concepts as applied to product development or platform innovation is preferred
