Year End Bonus

As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month’s extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.

Required Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or its equivalent with two years drafting instruction and 6 years of work related experience in the design field OR two-year post high school certificate in design related discipline or Technical/Trade school and 4 years of work related experience in the design field OR Bachelor’s Degree in related design field and 2 years of experience in the design field
• Basic skills with Microsoft Windows Operating System
• CADD experience
• Experienced Autocad user and preferred REVIT experience for construction documentation and working drawings
• Knowledge of Architectural Design, Building Codes, and ADA requirements
• Knowledge of Construction means and methods
• Knowledge of Corporate Quality Improvement (CQI) methodology
• Knowledge of financial and cost analysis information

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors’ Degree in Architecture or Engineering related field
• 4 years of experience in a design related field
• Drafting experience in Revit and AutoCAD programs
• Knowledge of Publix Super Market retail business operations
• Knowledge of Publix validated equipment and design standards
