Engineering Technician – Energy Center Operations – Casa Grand, AZ Plant

The Energy Center Engineering Technician supports the installation, ongoing maintenance, operation, and continuous improvement of all Energy Center equipment, systems, and other fixed assets to a high standard of safety, quality and productivity at the lowest possible cost while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Work On

• Provide technical support on energy center systems. Create and execute validation activities according to plant/division policy. Act as the energy center subject matter expert and coordinator for process safety management systems within the energy center. Provide support and technical expertise for document additions and modifications. Support utility monitoring and analysis activities. Support quality systems and documentation related to the energy center.

• Plan and conduct small-sized projects within the Energy Center. Responsibilities include detailed project planning/monitoring, project reviews, implementation, and validation. Support larger-scaled projects under the direction of more senior engineering staff members.

• Complete engineering activities incorporating best available technologies while adhering to Abbott policies, regulatory requirements, GMP standards, Abbott Engineering Standards and Environmental, Health/Safety regulations.  Under the direction of senior engineering team members, create equipment/process specifications, drawings and software as required and ensure that existing documentation is accurate and appropriate.  Research, recommend, implement, and qualify replacement pa
