Together we are <a href="https://www.experian.com/careers/experian-life">#UniquelyExperian</a></p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for building, automating, and optimizing cloud infrastructure, focusing on scalability, security, and operational efficiency.</p><p>The Sr. DOE should have a deep understanding of cloud-native development, automation tools, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), and cloud architecture best practices. The incumbent will work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, security, and operations, to ensure seamless code deployments, high availability, and performance in production environments. This role is ideal for a proactive go-getter who is eager to drive new technology adoption within the organization.</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><p> </p><ul><li><strong>Cloud Infrastructure Management</strong>: Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure in public cloud environments (AWS, Azure).</li><li><strong>Automation & CI/CD</strong>: Implement and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines, ensuring reliable and efficient deployment of microservices and containerized applications (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).</li><li><strong>Infrastructure as Code (IaC)</strong>: Develop and manage infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform.</li><li><strong>Monitoring & Optimization</strong>: Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., Dynatrace, CloudWatch, Splunk, Grafana, ELK Stack) for proactive infrastructure performance optimization, incident detection, and root cause analysis.</li><li><strong>Security</strong>: Implement security best practices (e.g., encryption, identity and access management, network security, vulnerability scanning) to protect cloud infrastructure and application workloads.</li><li><strong>Automation Scripting</strong>: Create automation scripts for cloud operations and orchestration using Python or similar scripting languages.</li><li><strong>Incident Response</strong>: Own and manage incident response and ensuring quick recovery times and data integrity.</li><li><strong>Collaboration: </strong>Work closely with the infrastructure teams to automate and optimize infrastructure provisioning and scaling using IAC tools like Terraform.</li><li><strong>Cloud Strategy: </strong>Drive the evaluation and adoption of new tools and technologies to keep the organization at the forefront of observability and monitoring practices. </li><li><strong>Mentoring:</strong> Ability to lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers. </li><li><strong>Continues Improvement: </strong>Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment that encourages innovation and growth</li></ul><p> </p><p> </p><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong><u>Required qualification, expertise, skills: </u></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Education</strong>: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.</li><li><strong>Experience</strong>: min 6 years of DevOps engineering experience </li><li><strong>Cloud Platforms</strong>: Extensive hands-on experience with at least one public cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP) and a solid understanding of their services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM).</li><li><strong>Infrastructure as Code (IaC)</strong>: Proficient in IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) for automating cloud resource provisioning and management.</li><li><strong>CI/CD Pipelines</strong>: Expertise in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Flux, Jenkins, GitLab CI or AWS CodePipeline.</li><li><strong>Containerization & Orchestration</strong>: Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration and workload management in cloud-native environments.</li><li><strong>Automation & Scripting</strong>: Proficient in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages for operational tasks and automations.</li><li><strong>Monitoring & Logging</strong>: Experience with monitoring and loggin
