About the Role & Your ImpactZero Homes is looking for an experienced, highly motivated manager to take our customer operations to the next level! This is a player/coach role that will be joining a growing team responsible for advising homeowners, designing home electrification solutions, and helping move homeowners forward with projects that improve the comfort and energy efficiency of our customers’ homes.
This role requires someone with excellent team leadership and management skills, a bias for action and improvement, and an obsession for growth while maintaining extremely high standards for quality and workmanship. You aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty digging into the details, you are adept at managing key risks and bottlenecks, and you are excited to work with senior leadership to align team output with company sales and operations targets. 
We will look to you to keep the sales engine humming and on target – you will be a critical lynchpin in enabling sustainable growth for Zero Homes.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience managing sales and/or customer operations teams, preferably in a technical product field like software, residential home improvement, or HVAC solutions.
• A bias for action, with excellent communication, organization, record-keeping, and time-management skills.
• A proven track record of process improvement and optimization, with a demonstrated ability to set, manage, and achieve team-wide targets.
• Tech savviness, fluency in software products, eagerness to learn new software systems, and experience working with CRMs (e.g., HubSpot).
• Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire and develop team members.

Nice To Have

• In-field or management experience in residential construction, HVAC, plumbing, or electrical retrofit work.
• Expertise or familiarity with utility energy efficiency, electrification, or demand-side management programs.
• The ability to speak Spanish or other languages to support customers or partners whose native language is not English.
