Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity on its BDS Core Strategy team for a Senior Strategy Development Analyst! As an analyst on the team, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of the Aerospace and Defense industry and to support business and mission area strategies for one of the most successful defense and security companies in the world. This position can be in El Segundo, CA, Saint Louis, MO, or Arlington, VA.

Position Responsibilities:

• The ideal candidate must be able to work across teams to generate key strategic analysis, possess an aptitude for critical thinking and can present the insights from this analysis to senior leaders within the business
• Understand the bigger strategic picture, but also can deep-dive into the key strategic and tactical issues of the businesses
• Collaborate with operations analysts, engineers, and division teams to create mission and market area strategies
• Stay up to date on relevant technology, threat, and customer trends
• Perform strategic analysis, identification of enablers and strategic alternatives to create value

Typical Education/Experience:

Level 4: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).

Level 5: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience, 18 years' related work experience, etc.).

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience): 

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• 5 years of experience collecting, organizing, synthesizing, and analyzing data, summarizing findings, developing conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources
• 5 years of experience creating executive level presentations using Word, Power Point and Excel
• Experience with cross-functional projects
• Experience presenting work product to executives, senior leadership, or external customers

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 7 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Active Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance
• Experience in a strategy, corporate development, or market analysis role or related experience
• Experience with systems engineering, operations analysis, and/or threat analysis
• Experience in developing and analyzing complex business case models
• Experience delivering results against business objectives
• Knowledge or experience with Department of Defense (DoD) or military customers
