Position Summary
As a Business Systems Analyst at Suffolk, you'll be at the forefront of our construction applications, including Procore, Primavera P6, Autodesk, and other cutting-edge tools. You'll collaborate closely with our business users, providing top-notch support and implementing innovative solutions to drive our projects forward.
Responsibilities
- Be the go-to expert for day-to-day support and troubleshooting within our Project Management, Field Management, and Operations Support teams.
- Play a key role in evaluating and implementing new construction solutions, ensuring they align with Suffolk’s cybersecurity, architecture review, and change management processes.
- Provide both functional and technical support to the Construction Operations area, helping to analyze, design, develop, and implement business processes and applications.
- Collaborate with IT staff and internal business partners on new product reviews, tests, and pilots, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot processes and systems issues, documenting system functions and processes to maintain clarity and efficiency.
- Collect and analyze business requirements for multifunctional projects, delivering the best solutions to meet our business needs.
- Identify operational inefficiencies, conflicting business practices, and integration issues, and work with the team to evaluate and implement alternative solutions.
- Develop strong business relationships and integrate activities with other IT colleagues to ensure successful project implementation and support.
- Foster and maintain excellent relationships with internal business partners and IT colleagues, meeting and exceeding customer service expectations.
- Ensure minimal production issues post-implementation by developing and executing comprehensive testing plans.
- Develop and support ongoing user training to ensure all functional users fully understand and leverage application capabilities.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in information technology, Construction Management, Business, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- At least 2 years of professional experience working with and supporting construction- applications including but not limited to Procore, Primavera P6 and Autodesk.
- Project management experience
