URBN Personalization Analyst

Role Summary

The URBN Technology organization is seeking a marketing and data savvy Personalization Analyst to support multiple Personalization initiatives supporting our eCommerce business.  The role will have responsibility to Personalized and Segmented email, push notifications, SMS messages, and on site/in app content and product recommendations.  This role also will monitor and interpret campaign performance data to drive incremental sales via identified areas of optimization and shared learnings across brands.

Role Responsibilities

• Understand Brand objectives and customer journeys for Personalization campaigns
• Support Brands in creation of new campaigns and segments for on-site and CRM marketing; set data baselines to track performance against
• Understand how personalization algorithms translate to customer experiences, and strategize with Brands on how and when to use them across channels
• Regularly audit campaigns for AB testing opportunities and optimizations
• Regularly pull performance data for new insights and sales tracking
• Support Brands and Technology teams in troubleshooting campaign issues

Role Qualifications

• Enthusiasm for Personalized marketing campaigns and Customer Journeys and a desire for hands on learning
• Experience related to digital marketing skills such as Email, SMS, Customer Segmentation, Reporting, and eCommerce
• Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders of varying levels
• Excellent verbal, written, and analytical skills 
• Ability to prioritize work effectively and handle competing demands  
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver to deadlines  
• Strong attention to detail with emphasis on both quality and speed  
• Experience with Personalization fundamentals or recommendation algorithms a plus  
• Experience with Google Analytics or other reporting interfaces a plus
