MoboTrex has an opportunity to join our growing organization as a full-time Engineering Technician at our location in Pflugerville, TX. The Engineering Technician works with manufacturing and engineering in support of production process improvement and development to support the quality process.
Days and hours of work are Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Work indoors in a climate-controlled environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Complete work instruction updates and corrections.
- Conduct engineering and manufacturing evaluation of first-time builds.
- Perform time studies of manufacturing jobs.
- Identify and implement manufacturing process improvements.
- Maintain, create and update workmanship standards.
- Maintain, create, and update manufacturing KPIs.
- Update drawing and documents as necessary from manufacturing floor.
- Create assembly aids.
- Complete record keeping paperwork associated with serial numbers, test documents, and or quality checks.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Education and/or Experience:
A.S. degree in electronic engineering technology, mechanical engineering or a related field; or equivalent experience proving understanding of electrical schematics and systems.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
1. Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
2. Must have aptitude for electronic control equipment.
3. Have strong attention to detail.
4. Work well individually as week as part of a team.
5. 2D and 3D drafting experience a plus.
6. Ability to think outside the box.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit; talk or hear; and use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee is required to use hands repetitively. Intermittently, the employee may be required to lift up to 50 lbs. to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions and ability to adjust focus.
Must be able to stand or sit as required for 8-hour shifts.
