What You Will Do
Pratt & Whitney, a recognized leading producer of the world's most advanced commercial and military turbine engines, is seeking hardworking and ambitious students to join the Hot Section Engineering organization in an internship capacity during the summer of 2026.
Engineers within Hot Section Engineering are responsible for the development, design, validation and sustainment of hot section modules and components across a wide range of commercial and military products. Members of the Hot Section Engineering team work in design, structures, durability and project engineering roles and are engaged in wide range of programs from early development of new technologies to support and sustainment of fielded products. Additionally, hot section engineers participate in various processes facilitating the delivery of engines, the continuous improvement of manufacturing operations, and activities involved in product quality and safety. They work both in the office cross-functionally, as well as hands on engaged on the shop floor, supporting operations.
This unique program led by experienced professionals will ensure that our interns are learning, mentored, and integrated within the cross-functional organizations they support. The Hot Section Engineering summer internship program provides you with a flexible learning environment to help kick-start your career. We are looking for experienced students interested in full-time opportunities in Hot Section Engineering upon graduation.

Qualifications You Must Have
- Enrolled in a degree program in Engineering or a related field
- Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0
Qualifications We Prefer
- Enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- At least 30 credits toward a degree prior to starting the internship

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
