Senior QA Engineer (Automation)

This position is a key position to strengthen and speed up our automation efforts to shorten our feedback loops and to enable more frequent, on-demand releasability of our software. This position is an integrated part of a cross functional development team and will work closely with software engineers and QA Analysts in the team.<br/><br/><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Automated testing (using Robot Framework or similar) of our existing test suites and new feature test suites</li> <li>Support manual functional, regression and cross-browser exploratory testing</li> <li>Understands specifications and can draw up test scenarios and create regression test cases with the responsibility for the test asset library and updates test cases as needed</li> <li>Executes test cases and analyses test results. Interrogating failed scenarios and accurately record defects following them through to resolution</li> <li>Static review of the work of others, documenting issues, and providing constructive feedback. This will include a review of user stories, system requirements, and functional tests</li> <li>Generates test approaches and provides test estimates for work to be completed.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Experience/Skills<br/></strong></p> <ul> <li>Degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science, Mathematics or similar discipline</li> <li>Strong working experience of QA, test concepts, best practice, and technology</li> <li>5+ years of automated testing experience in testing web applications</li> <li>Experience of test management tools (e.g. JIRA, Zephyr)</li> <li>Good communication and collaboration skills – able to explain and champion the principles of a quality deliverable</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Experience/Skills </strong></p> <ul> <li>ISQTB Foundation Certificate</li> <li>Programming experience in Cypress/C#/Angular/Typescript</li> <li>Experience with JMeter</li> <li>Experience with Playwright</li> <li>Inquisitive and curious mindset</li> </ul><p><strong>What Diligent Offers You</strong> </p> <ul> <li><strong>Creativity is ingrained in our culture.</strong> We are innovative collaborators by nature.
