 Salary: 110,000 - 120,000 / year based on experience

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Director of Food & Nutrition Services to lead and oversee all aspects of foodservice operations a 150 bed inpatient rehabilitation facility. This role is responsible for managing patient dining, retail and cafeteria services, and catering operations, while fostering strong relationships across the hospital campus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily operations of the Food & Nutrition department, ensuring high-quality service for patients, staff, and visitors

• Deliver exceptional food quality and presentation across all dining areas

• Develop and manage departmental budgets to maximize value while maintaining cost control

• Oversee safety, sanitation, and facility maintenance programs

• Build and maintain positive relationships with hospital leadership, staff, and guests

• Support professional development, performance management, and engagement of team members

• Ensure alignment of foodservice operations with the overall goals and vision of the healthcare facility

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of relevant experience

• 5+ years of proven leadership in foodservice management, preferably in healthcare or contract services

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience with foodservice operations, purchasing, and inventory control

• Strong understanding of food and catering trends, production, sanitation, and cost control

• Experience managing P&L and financial performance

• ServSafe® certification preferred

• A forward-thinking, proactive leader who can serve as the face of the foodservice program
