The Mission of This Role

We are seeking a Director of Strategic Projects who will serve as a trusted hands-on executor and partner to senior leadership. This individual will oversee and deliver high-priority initiatives across real estate, technology, and private equity, translating vision into execution with precision, speed, and impact.
In this role, you will lead cross-functional projects that span industries, creating structure where there is ambiguity, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring results are achieved at an institutional standard. You will bring the intellectual sharpness, versatility, and leadership presence to handle projects of consequence, shaping outcomes that materially advance Rex’s mission and growth.

What You’ll Do

Lead High-Stakes Projects: Own end-to-end execution of strategic initiatives across real estate, technology, and private equity ventures.
Drive Strategy into Action: Translate leadership vision into actionable project plans, ensuring clear accountability, disciplined execution, and measurable outcomes.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Direct and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, aligning stakeholders to move complex initiatives forward.
Build Scalable Systems: Develop repeatable project management frameworks, tools, and best practices that improve organizational efficiency.
Apply Analytical Rigor: Use data and financial analysis to assess opportunities, model scenarios, and inform decision-making.
Provide Leadership Leverage: Serve as an extension of senior leadership, enabling Peter Rex and executives to focus on vision while ensuring flawless operational follow-through.
Develop Talent: Mentor and elevate junior project teammates, instilling discipline, rigor, and Rex cultural values.

Ideal Candidate Profile

7–10 years of professional experience in consulting, investment, project management, or operational leadership, with exposure to real estate, tech, or private equity strongly preferred.
Proven track record of leading cross-functional pr
