Junior Software Engineer - Intern

Overview:
IntelliBridge seeks a Developer Intern to assist our Product Engineering team in the development of innovative features and functionalities across our suite of products. As an intern, you will support the creation and refinement of user interfaces and backend processes under the guidance of our Technical Product Lead. This is an hourly position ideal for candidates eager to gain hands-on experience in full stack development while contributing to a leading-edge Generative AI platform.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Assist in the development and refinement of user interfaces and system functionalities
- Participate in coding, testing, debugging, and documenting project features as part of an agile team
- Collaborate with Technical Product Lead and team to align development efforts with company goals
- Engage in the iterative process of feedback incorporation to continuously improve product offerings
- Support creation and maintenance of documentation for system features and user guides.
- Update databases, spreadsheets, documents, and content (SharePoint, Confluence) as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:
- Some familiarity with one or more of the following: Django, Python, React, Express, and TypeScript.
- Basic understanding of AI technologies, preferably with exposure to LLMs or similar frameworks.
- Ability to understand and apply UX/UI design principles.
- Good problem-solving skills and capacity to address technical challenges.
- Effective communication skills, able to collaborate with technical and non-technical team members.
Qualifications:
- Current enrollment in a Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field program.
- Demonstrated interest in full stack development through coursework or personal projects.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- 1-2 years of work experience preferred
Location: Position is primarily remote; may travel if needed to IntelliBridge headquarters office in McLean, VA
Hours: 20-40 hours per week
