BGS Supply Engineering is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Planner to join our team of planners out of the Spares Distribution Center supporting the Repair Station in SeaTac, CA. You'll collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Quality, AOG, Tooling and Suppliers to define repair plans and configurations.

Position Responsibilities:

• Develops, implements and maintains various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration.
• Assists with development and integration of suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.
• Assists in reviewing supplier data to ensure manufacturing related requirements are met.
• Assists in providing input to design, manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedules.
• Assists in the review, maintenance and monitoring of internal documents.
• Interrogation of 787 LWG and IVT models for part identification and build requirements.
• Review and interpret 2D legacy drawings for part identification and build requirements.
• Work closely with supplier management, logistics specialist and purchase agents to coordinate part acquisition.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• 2+ years of related work experience.
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
• Experience in a role that required excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders
• Experience in a role that required the ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and implement changes in a fast-paced environment
• Willing to work overtime as needed to support production (weekday and alternating weekend overtime)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience with build plans and workarounds
• Experience with any and all aircraft commodities (Structures, Electrical, Tubing, Interiors, Etc.)
• Experience with CMES, PDM, CAPP, REDARS, STEPS, SAP
• Ability to apply existing skills, learn post-production repair planning and contribute with minimum supervision

Summary Pay Range: $60,350- $81,650
