Brown & Brown is seeking a Commercial Lines Associate Account manager to join our growing team in Ft. Myers, FL!
The Associate Account Manager will be responsible for supporting the team and providing prompt, accurate, and courteous service to our customers, sales representatives, and insurance companies. This individual will also assist the team in completion of service functions and provide quality service to our clients.
How You Will Contribute:
Issue Certificates of Insurance & Evidence of Property
Request Loss Runs from carrier or online
Process and Policy Checking for all renewal policies, including mailing to insured
Pre-Renewal Checklists to assist Account Service Managers/Select Agent with renewal marketing process, including preparing applications and proposals.
Responsible for follow-up on Direct Bill renewals prior to month-end
Responsible for issuing all carrier on-line endorsements
Process all endorsements received for accuracy and mail to insured.
Follow-up on Endorsement Requests as direction of Account Service Manager
Request Additional Information from Insured (driver information, updated renewal information, follow-up voluntary audit forms, recommendations made by loss control, etc.)
Assist with day-to-day account management — endorsements, claims
Build and Maintain Client Relationship, phone, email and meeting contacts
Complete and submit Loss Notices, Mail Claim Follow-up to Insured; follow-up on all open claims and process all claims documentation.
Complete check requests payable to Insured at request of ASM for return premium endorsement, audit, and overpayment of premium and mailing to insured.
Ensure that actions protect the Agency from claims of liability for errors or omissions and that all tasks are professionally performed.
Licenses and Certifications:
- 4-40 Customer Service Representative License preferred
Skills & Experience to Be Successful:
High School diploma required
Proficient with MS Office Suite
Exceptional telephone demeanor
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
