About the Role

We’re looking for a Front End Software Engineer (Level 2) to join our fully remote engineering team. In this role, you’ll be hands-on with coding and debugging, collaborating closely with our product and engineering teams to build new features and improve existing ones across both web and native apps.

You’ll take ownership of your work from ideation to deployment, and be an active contributor to a high-performing team. We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about clean, maintainable code, and enjoys solving tough technical problems.

What You’ll Do

• Build & Ship: Write high-quality, scalable code for new features across web and native platforms.
• Maintain & Improve: Refactor and optimize legacy code for better performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot: Diagnose and resolve bugs and technical issues quickly and efficiently.
• Collaborate: Work closely with fellow engineers and product managers to design, scope, and implement new features.
• Mentor: Support and coach junior engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Innovate: Stay current with emerging front-end trends and suggest ways to improve tooling and workflows.

What We’re Looking For

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Deep experience with React and React Native (via Expo)
• Comfortable consuming and working with REST APIs
• Familiar with modern testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, and Testing Library
• Knowledge of Git and version control best practices
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Awareness of security best practices in software development
• Experience with performance optimization for front-end applications

Bonus Skills:

• Familiarity with Next.js and Vercel
