Statement of Purpose
Provide program management for NIB’s recruitment, engagement, compliance, rewards and recognition, Veteran and Military Spouse Employment initiatives. Champion opportunities for people who are blind. Provide guidance, consultation, and support to employees within NIB and our associated agencies.

Education
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be acceptable.
Training and Specialized Knowledge
- Knowledge of talent acquisition
- Familiarity with employee relations and engagement best practices
- Knowledge of military veteran and military spouse recruitment
- Strong computer proficiency including MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Previous experience working within an HRIS platform. Paycom experience preferred.

Experience
Six (6) plus years’ experience in a human resource related role specifically employee recruitment. Previous experience in a recruitment firm as a recruiter and business development manager preferred. Familiarity with blind recruitment and military veteran programs helpful.
Travel
15% travel. Will require travel within the Washington, DC metro area and periodically to recruitment fairs in the DC metro region including blind and veteran conference events outside of the DC Metro area.
