At our Tempe Campus, you’ll support mission-critical facilities that enable life-saving innovation and manufacturing. As a Facilities Maintenance Technician III, you’ll play a key role in sustaining a safe, reliable, and inclusive work environment.

As a Maintenance Technician III, you will: 

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems in a cleanroom and production facility. 

  • Working within RODI Systems. 

  • Troubleshoot complex systems and collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) teams. 

  • Respond to urgent building system alarms and prioritize work orders based on safety, production, and compliance needs. 

  • Maintain and document equipment records using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). 

  • Ensure all tasks comply with OSHA, Medtronic EHS standards, FDA regulations, and cGMP guidelines. 

  • Support facilities projects including equipment upgrades, utility installs, and space reconfigurations. 

  • Mentor and guide junior technicians as needed. 

  • Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace. 

 

First shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, M-F) with flexibility to cover other shifts (2nd , 3rd and/or weekends) as needed. 

 

Must Have – Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience 

 

Nice to Have - Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with commercial or industrial HVAC, plumbing, mechanical systems, or electrical systems. 

  • Knowdge and experience working with RODI Systems. 

  • Ability to read blueprints, technical schematics, and operating manuals. 

  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. 

  • Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotations and occasional weekends. 

  • Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (semiconductor, medical device, pharmaceutical, aerospace, etc.). 

  • Working knowledge of building automation systems (e.g., Siemens, Honeywell). 

  • Familiarity with cleanroom protocols or ISO-classified environments. 

  • EPA 608 Universal Certification or equivalent.
