- Work on post-test analysis and product validation activities supporting advanced turbocharger technologies for the automotive industry.
- Investigate tested hardware, identify failure mechanisms, perform root cause analysis, and support corrective actions.
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving methods to improve engineering processes and drive data-based decisions.
- Benchmark products, technologies, processes, and competitor solutions while working under the mentorship of experienced engineers.
- Collaborate with experts in design, validation, manufacturing, quality, and reliability engineering.
- Gain hands-on experience with engineering analysis, measurement equipment, laboratory investigations, and automotive quality systems.
- Exposure to product development, operational excellence initiatives, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Opportunity to lead an individual project from analysis through implementation and final presentation of results.
DESIRABLE BACKGROUND
Final-year Bachelor's or Master's student in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering or similar.
Basic understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, quality systems, and product development.
Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, 8D, or other structured problem-solving methodologies is an advantage.
Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Minitab, Python) is beneficial.
Self-motivated, analytical, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
Good communication skills in both written and spoken English.
Duration: minimum 6 months.
