We are seeking an experienced Implementation Support Sr. Technical Analyst to help support the design, development, and delivery of enterprise level security solutions for a federal client. The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of IT Security with a vast array of IT systems involving end user as well as enterprise level networks. They will have experience in collecting technical requirements, systems deployment, user training, KPI reporting and collection, and technical documentation.
An MLS Technical Sr. Analyst will apply expert systems analysis and design techniques to complex enterprise systems. They will have broad knowledge of data sources/flow, interactions of complex systems, and capabilities/limitations of systems software and computer equipment. The MLS Technical Sr. Analyst will be able to establish frameworks for new computer systems from feasibility studies to post implementation evaluation, recognize probable conflicts and integrate diverse data sources. They will provide innovative solutions for a variety of complex problems and prepare overall project recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interprets technical business requirements early in the process
- Ensures go-live deliverables are efficiently met.
- Works closely with the Project Manager to ensure dates, risks and project plan are documented, communicated and understood.
- Coordinates with business and technical stakeholders to obtain necessary technical deployment information.
- Coordinates with business and vendor stakeholders to plan/execute data migration, UAT period, training, and communication plan
- Ensure KPIs can be successfully tracked.
- Work with the vendor and external VA groups to ensure needed integrations have been properly architected and implemented on the project timeline
- Highlights potential blockers regarding implementation caused by vendors or external sources. Develop a remediation plan and communicate to all necessary stakeholders.
- Gather and report technical metrics
- Pl and execute the training plan in the absence of vendor support.
- Communicate and establish a plan for end user creation and ongoing support needs
- Bachelor’s Degree in information systems, Computer Science or related field required, OR 8 years additional years of work experience.
- Requires strong analytical and organizational skills to include strong attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in dynamic team environment.
- Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
- Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Ability to read technical documentation and identify alignment and/or conflict with process requirements and policies. Ability to translate these findings into customer communications along with action-items to resolve potential issues.
- Superb soft skills including the ability to gain the trust of stakeholders and senior management and negotiate priorities with outside teams
- Working knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) for SaaS applications
- Experience supporting Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and/or other federal organizations.
- Experience with Agile methodology and processes and Scrum approach, Certified Scrum Master, Agile, or DevOps certification a plus.
