The Divisional President for the Southcentral which includes AL, AZ, CO, GA, LA, MS,NM and TX. will join Oak Street Health at a pivotal moment in our journey and in the evolution of primary care. As a leader in the shift from fee-for-service to value-based care, Oak Street Health offers a unique opportunity to drive meaningful change in healthcare delivery.

This role holds full P&L responsibility for a large, high-performing market with over 1,000 team members and significant value-based care revenue. In partnership with the Executive Medical Director, the Divisional President will lead a team of seasoned operators and clinical leaders to achieve key clinical, operational, and financial goals.

The Divisional President will also play a critical role in shaping and implementing new iterations of the Oak Street care and growth models, collaborating closely with teams across quality, population health, outreach, and marketing. Success will be measured by patient growth, financial performance, quality outcomes, patient satisfaction, and team engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence across a portfolio of centers.

• Deliver growth, financial, and clinical outcomes in a value-based care medical group

• Lead and inspire a diverse, interdisciplinary team of 1,000+.

• Champion change management initiatives to support innovation and transformation.

• Cultivate a high-performance leadership culture through mentorship and accountability.

• Strengthen health plan relationships to support strategic growth.

• Build and develop a talent pipeline to sustain future expansion.

• Identify and scale best practices across the organization.

• Collaborate with physician leaders to advance care model priorities.

• Innovate locally and contribute to enterprise-wide improvements.

• Represent Oak Street Health’s mission and values internally and externally.

• Launch new markets and sites within the division.

• Pursue strategic partnerships and business development opportunities.

• Own key performance indicators and strategic relationships, including:

  • Full P&L accountability

  • Growth targets and performance metrics

  • Risk contract performance

  • Compliance

  • Health plan relationship management

The typical pay range for this role is:
$250,000 - $350,000

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
