What You'll Do
As a Senior Robotics Software Engineer at Aescape you'll work with an incredibly talented cross-functional team of software engineers and roboticists to create a one-of-a-kind massage therapy experience. You will provide technical and thought leadership, contribute creatively, and deliver production-ready code.
Develop algorithms that drive intuitive, adaptive user-facing features.
Collaborate with a cross-functional team of software engineers, roboticists, product managers, and designers to deliver innovative solutions to unsolved problems.
Deliver high-quality, testable code.
What You’ll Bring
5 plus years experience writing software and developing robotics solutions.
Proficiency writing production level code in C++, Python, or equivalent.
BS/MS in Computer Science—or equivalent experience.
Experience mentoring other engineers.
Proven skill and passion for creating intuitive user-facing features.
Expertise in human-robot interaction or human-computer interaction.
Proven executional excellence and experience with Agile methodologies and tools.
Highly skilled in motion planning, multimodal signal processing, sensor fusion, and robotics .
Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms with ability to write clean code, leveraging appropriate design patterns and best practices.
Nice-to-have, but not required
Experience with machine learning, reinforcement learning, and other AI algorithms applied to robotics.
Experience working on video/audio tooling and/or other media tooling.
Experience working on medical devices or in a regulated industry.
Full-stack software experience.

A competitive pay + equity plan, the salary range for the role is $140,000 - $160,000 plus bonus.
