Director, US Medical Affairs – COVID-19 Strategy – Insights

We are looking for a highly motivated Medical Affairs Director who is passionate about patient-centric care related to Covid-19 treatment.  The Director, USMA – COVID-19 Strategy - Insights, will play a pivotal role in supporting the development and execution of medical strategies related to COVID-19 infections, with a particular emphasis on integrated delivery network (IDN) support and insight generation and management. This role will focus on shaping medical and scientific content, driving alignment on disease state education, and ensuring that IDN-level treatment strategies (protocols / order sets) are appropriately aligned with the latest evidence. The role will directly support healthcare decision-makers within IDNs, and virtual engagement platforms to provide scientific insights and enhance the understanding of COVID-19 treatment and management. Additionally, this role will collaborate with commercial teams to ensure that digital engagement strategies are aligned with medical objectives and needs. The candidate must be a self-starter with a proven track record of success in prior roles. They will play a critical and exciting role in helping the US Medical Affairs organization support COVID-19 treatment therapies and understand the evolving COVID treatment landscape.. This position will report to the USMA COVID- 19 Strategy Sr Director Lead and will work directly with the US and Global teams, as well as cross-functionally with other COVID-19 internal stakeholders.

Essential Duties and Job Functions

• Strategic Medical Support

  • Support the development and execution of US medical strategy related to COVID-19 disease state education and treatment guidelines, with a focus on IDN decision-makers, protocols, and order sets.

  • Provide cross-functional input and scientific support to internal stakeholders, including medical, commercial, and market access teams, to ensure the alignment of COVID-19 content across all channels.
