Purpose

The MS Programs Office (MSPO) is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized undergraduate student to assist in Spring 2026 with administrative and project management support. This role is ideal for students looking to develop transferable skills in project management, client communication, and workflow optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with organizing tasks, timelines, and workflows for mission-critical projects related to a portfolio of graduate programs and potential updates and changes to those programs
  • Track progress and update project documentation.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders to gather information and provide updates.
  • Support the team in scheduling meetings and preparing materials.
  • Perform general administrative tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with guidance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Smartsheet and/or Asana

  • Experience working with databases or data entry.

  • Strong problem solving and communication skills.

  • Interest in project management

  • Open to work-study award for the semester.

Hourly Rate

  • $20.00 Hourly

Working Conditions:

  • Work performed in standard office conditions.

  • Repetitive use of keyboard at a workstation.

Schedule Work Shift:

  • 20 hours per week

  • Flexible work hours between Monday through Friday 8am-5pm, based on students' class schedule
