Kyowa Kirin is a fast-growing global specialty pharmaceutical company that applies state-of-the-art biotechnologies to discover and deliver novel medicines in four disease areas: bone and mineral; intractable hematologic; hematology oncology; and rare disease. This role reports to Vice President, Patient Services
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinating group scheduling and activities
- Maintaining and coordinating general office services professionally and courteously
- Arranging travel (including car service) and accommodation for company personnel and external resources/contacts as needed
- Organizing meeting rooms and requirements (catering, projectors, teleconferencing, etc.) for internal and external meetings
- Executing expense reports for Senior Leadership Team members for sign-off by their superiors
- Ensuring communication of information in the most appropriate manner, with consideration of timelines for delivery (courier, mail)
- Photocopying and scanning of documents as necessary
- Paper and electronic document filing
- Processing and tracking contracts via a contract management system
- Processing and tracking purchase orders and invoices in the company system
- Create PowerPoint presentations
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of administrative experience
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred
- Strong computer and software skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Good organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- The ability to work a hybrid schedule which includes 2 days on site per week, or 8 days per month
Job Requirements
Education
- A High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years in a corporate environment
- Pharmaceutical experience preferred
Technical Skills
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
Non-Technical Skills
- Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, meet deadlines, make decisions, and change course of action quickly. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Strong work ethic is required. Detail oriented and excellent follow through. Has the ability to flex and deal with ambiguity in a dynamic, fast-paced, high growth environment. Has a passion for personal learning and development to be able to grow with the company. Cultural sensitivity and ability to develop consensus within a multinational organization.
Travel
Requires up to 10% domestic and travel
Normal office environment with prolonged sitting and extensive computer work
