American Energy Storage Innovations, Inc. (AESI) has a full-time opening for a Director, Supply Chain & Manufacturing job in Hudson, Massachusetts.  

Job Summary:

The Director, Supply Chain & Manufacturing leads all supply chain, manufacturing, and quality activities for AESI Energy Storage Systems (ESS) for new and released products. This responsibility includes developing the capabilities of AESI and contract manufacturing teams providing procurement and manufacturing to achieve cost, quality and delivery targets. This role includes developing strategic supplier relationships and supply agreements. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead the supply chain function by developing and communicating a clear vision across functional teams and stakeholders to drive successful business processes and growth.
• Lead Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) planning process with Sales and Operations teams.
• Develop supply base and negotiate purchase agreements with strategic suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to supply chain.
• Manage contract manufacturers, including process, equipment, production and capacity capabilities. Ensure proper processes and technologies are in place for scale.
• Drives accountability through activity metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Lead continuous improvement process activity.
• Adhere to federal and state regulations.
• Adhere to all company policies, processes, and procedures.
• Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned. 
• Predictable and reliable attendance.

Position Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business administration, or equivalent.
• Masters’ degree in engineering or business administration preferred.
• Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing, and operations.
• Relevant experience in this type of role leading supply chain and manufacturing for large industrial equipment which are engineer-to-order, build-to-order, or assemble-to-order.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, people leadership experience.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing supply chain strategies that drive business results.
• Strong leadership and management skills with experience leading cross functional teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand and respond to inquiries and complaints from regulatory agencies.
• Highly collaborative with a genuine passion for customer service.
• The ability to maintain calm under pressure.
• Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to travel domestically and internationally, approximately 25% annually.
