We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Engineering to lead and manage multiple teams responsible for the full stack development, deployment, and maintenance of our digital learning platform. As a technical leader, you will guide our engineering teams in creating robust software solutions that support and enhance our digital learning offerings. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of overseeing full stack projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering efforts with business objectives and drive technological advancements, ensuring our platform remains at the forefront of the digital learning industry.

 

 

 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Technology Strategy: Staying up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation. 
• Functional Leadership: Providing leadership and managerial direction for engineering activities to ensure business objectives are achieved. 
• Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborating with product management, sales, marketing, and other departments to ensure alignment and support for engineering initiatives.
• Roadmap Development: Creating and maintaining an engineering roadmap that supports product and business objectives.
• Staff Development: Creatting and curating career development programs for the team and continuously evaluates and improves team members' skills and performance, seeking constant alignment with organizational readiness metrics. 
• Workflow Optimization: Continuously improving engineering processes to enhance efficiency and productivity. 
• Product Innovation: Fostering a culture of innovation within the engineering team to develop cutting-edge products. 
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicating engineering plans, progress, and challenges to stakeholders, including executives and clients. Owning, defining, auditing and communicating KPIs and Engineering Metrics across the entire organization. 
• Research and Development: Driving R&D efforts to explore new technologies and product improvements. 
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring that engineering activities comply with industry regulations and standards. 
• Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate
