Human Relations Professional

Description

The Human Relation Professional plays a critical role in ensuring that the organization adheres to the highest standards of quality, compliance, and operational excellence.

• Conflict resolution: Resolving conflicts in a timely and effective manner to maintain positive relationships and a positive work culture 
• Employee relations: Managing and maintaining relationships between employees and employers 
• Policy interpretation: Ensuring compliance with employment laws and providing guidance on employee policies and procedures 
• Training and development: Designing and implementing training programs to improve employee productivity 
• Recruitment and selection: Participating in the recruitment and dismissal processes 
• Background checks: Conducting employee background checks 
• Counseling: Providing counseling services to employees 
• Reporting: Preparing and delivering summary reports and recommendations 
• Legal compliance: Interacting with leadership regarding legal compliance, discipline, terminations, and negotiated separations 

As the Human relation professionals you should have strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills and you should also have knowledge of employment law, organizational abilities, attention to detail, and empathy

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in human resources, labor relations, organizational development, business or related area; relevant work experience may be a substitute
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
• Experience with the human resources information system (HRIS) used by the company ( we will teach you)
• Knowledge of a broad range of human resource strategies and practices, including compensation, performance management, safety, hiring and employee relations; able to apply these strategies and practices in compliance with employment regulations
• Ability to create a culture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration and teamwork
• Experience with analyzing data to guide strategic employment planning
