Job Summary
The Sr. Security Consultant - Cyber Threat Intel is responsible for developing and managing a comprehensive cyber threat intelligence consulting program. This role involves analyzing emerging threats, providing strategic insights, and advising clients on effective cybersecurity measures. The consultant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance threat detection and response capabilities.
This position is remote with a Home Office setup as determined by Stratascale management.

Responsibilities
Includes, but not limited to:
- Develop and implement a robust cyber threat intelligence program.
- Analyze and interpret complex threat data to provide actionable insights.
- Advise clients on threat trends and mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with security teams to enhance threat detection and response.
- Deliver detailed threat analysis reports and presentations to stakeholders.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging threats.
- Conduct threat modeling and simulation exercises.
- Mentor junior analysts and support their professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in cyber threat intelligence or a related discipline.
- Proven track record of developing and leading CTI programs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Required Skills
- Expertise in threat intelligence tools and platforms.
- Proficiency in data analysis and threat modeling.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and standards.
- Experience in threat hunting and incident response.
- Ability to translate technical findings into business language
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with advanced persistent threat (APT) analysis.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for automation.
Certifications Required
Preferred Certifications:
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence (GCTI)
- SANS Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) Certification
Unique Requirements
- Attend virtual customer meetings when appropriate
- Travel to customer sites, partner sites, conferences and Stratascale offices up to 20% annually
- Candidate will need to have access to an international airport
Additional Information
- The estimated annual pay range for this position is $165,000 - $205,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
