Senior Financial Analyst

Do you possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and expertise in financial modeling and reporting? Does your work experience demonstrate your extensive knowledge of financial and data analysis, with 5+ years of ALM experience in a credit union or other financial institution?

 We’d like to welcome a Senior Financial Analyst responsible for performing accounting duties of a complex nature requiring advanced professional experience, knowledge and competency in accounting principles and practices. This role is responsible for developing management reports and systems to aid management and Board decision making.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/RESPONSIBILITES

Reporting to the Senior Vice President / Chief Financial Officer, this role oversees the development, installation, and on-going preparation of risk-based reporting structures for the Lending areas of the credit union. Assists with the timely preparation and analysis of month end closings and financial reports. Inputs Asset Liability data to ALM model and produces reports for the monthly ALCO committee meeting. Primarily responsible for the administration of Third-Party Vendor Management and the Current Expected Credit Losses software. Assists as a staff liaison to the state and federal examiners, and outside CPA firm auditors. Assists the SVP/CFO with the preparation of the annual budget. Performs various complex financial analysis and provides accompanying reports to Senior Management and Board.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE PREREQUISITES

• B.S. degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or equivalent. Advanced degree or CPA designation desirable.
• Minimum of five years of progressive accounting data analytics, and ALM experience in a financial institution, preferably in a credit union.
• Ability to lead and cooperate with others, inspire confidence, and to work effectively with a management team.
• Requires extensive knowledge of financial and data analysis and PC programs. 
• Organized and efficient.

PAY RANGE

In accordance with California’s Pay Transparency Act (SB 1162), the expected salary range for this position is between: 

$88,200 - $151,410

Actual pay will be determined based on a candidate’s specific qualifications, including their knowledge, skills, education and experience, internal equity consideration, as well as other job-related factors permitted by law.
