About The Role

Reporting to the VP of Retail Licensing and Commissions, the Business Analyst Lead will be responsible for guiding the Business Analyst team and working close within the Licensing and Commissions department and other internal/external partners on current and future projects for new partner and product launches.  This individual will collaborate with stakeholders, including Legal and Compliance Leadership, project teams, and other relevant parties to gather and document detailed business requirements for current and upcoming projects.  This will include identifying, reviewing and validating business requirements and facilitating sign off within the business.  

Additionally, the Business Analyst Lead will be responsible for driving the team to deliver all evaluating existing processes and identifying opportunities for improvement that meet Corebridge business objectives in the current environment. This individual will leverage technology, tools, and to reduce inefficiencies to maintain and improve SLAs. An individual in the role will be required to be organized, data driven, and customer focused to drive timely results.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Business Analytics team and provide partnership to ensure representation and partnership between L&C operations and IT to maximize efficiencies and improve system functionality.
• Assist management in identifying and providing feedback on team bench strength and knowledge base to support business continuity efforts and eliminate operational risk.
• Identify and provide details on controls and processes to support business continuity efforts and eliminate operational risk.
• Analytical ability, problem solver, can self-motivate research answers to questions. Experience with independent research and summarization of information.
• Good communication skills with ability to speak to both internal and external stakeholders as we identify and implement requirements/changes.
• Lead the BA team and work with L&C leadership on operational projects to ensure the achievement of project goals and tactical business results including identify/reviews of organization’s risk management policies and procedures.
• Clearly and concisely communicate issue observations, or other key messages as needed to a variety of constituents, including senior business and audit management, both verbally and through written reports. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Work in partnership and maintain open communication lines with control functions relative to products and processes and ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines, and evolving business needs.
• Leverage understanding of current and future suite of Corebridge products, features, and systems.
• Clearly and articulately provide documented rationale behind decisions and memorialize them.
• Provide suggestions and plans to upgrade processes, procedures, and systems.
