Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Lead Specialty Software Engineer in San Leandro, California.

Job Role and Responsibility: Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. is hiring for the position of Lead Specialty Software Engineer to lead complex initiatives on selected domains. Ensure systems are monitored to increase operational efficiency and managed to mitigate risk. Define opportunities to maximize resource utilization and improve processes while reducing cost. Lead, design, develop, test and implement applications and system components, tools and utilities, models, simulation, and analytics to manage complex business functions using sophisticated technologies. Resolve coding, testing and escalated platform issues of a technically challenging nature. Lead team to ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives. Mentor less experienced software engineers. Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including managers. Lead team to achieve objectives. Partner with production support and platform engineering teams effectively.

Required Qualifications:

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related position involving software engineering experience.

Specific skills required:

• Five (5) years of Specialty Software Engineering experience
• Five (5) years of Software Development experience with architecting, designing and developing iOS or Android mobile and Web user interface mobile applications
• Five (5) years of mobile solutions engineering experience
• Five (5) year experience in Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 or Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1
• Experience working with JSON, React, Selenium, Bootstrap, Javascript, Performance Testing, REST, Splunk, Swift, CSS, GIT, Jenkins, JQuery, NodeJS, Software Development, TypeScript, and XML

Salary: $206,315 - $287,600
