Our org, Internal Platform & Services, plays a key, strategic role in HashiCorp’s transformation to a managed SaaS company. We provide a single reliable foundation and a rapid development runway in order for HashiCorp’s R&D product lines to deliver and realize every one of our legendary solutions as a fully-managed service in the cloud! 

Reliability and Optimization Team

Reliability and Optimization’s Mission: Continuously improve HashiCorp’s reliability and efficiency through culture and tools! 

We are a crucial element of the Platform story: We enable the entire R&D organization in the ongoing development and operations of the HashiCorp Cloud Platform through a multi-#faceted approach to engagement. 

We embed with engineering teams and use our Service Reliability Review process to proactively identify opportunities to improve and strengthen our products. 

We lead Incident Command, using the data we capture to guide the overall reliability strategy for HashiCorp’s Cloud Systems. 

Like observability tools? We introduce and drive the adoption of observability solutions that improve our visibility capabilities!

You’re probably a fit if:

• You are outcome-focused, and have experience owning “big picture deliverables” while managing your org to quarterly commitments and metrics. 
• You’re comfortable partnering with various leaders and functions across the enterprise.
• You have some experience developing or operationalizing cloud services at scale. 
• You have some experience working with observability and data analysis tools. 
• You’ve got experience developing software in a global SaaS environment hosted on AWS, Azure or GCP.
• You’ve got solid experience with one modern development language such as Go, Python. 

You might be an ideal fit if: 

• Experience leading operational review processes 
• Experience leading large scale incidents. 
• Previous experience with program management 
• Previous experience with business analytics 
• Previous experience with compliance regimes like ISO, PCI, SOC2
• Experience as a systems architect or production engineering architect
