Our business is rapidly expanding, and we have an incredible opportunity to innovate and evolve our existing business processes through technology. The IT Business Process Architect will lead process innovation initiatives across multiple functions to optimize our overall operations. The ideal candidate will bring both expertise in process design and depth in business technology and systems.  

The Business Process Architect will operate in a highly cross-functional and matrixed team environment. Using expert communication and partnership skills, this role will consistently challenge the status quo and influence change. The BPA will immediately be a key contributor to the definition, development, and execution of a multi-year business process simplification program.

This role will report directly to the head of Business Process under IT Enterprise Architecture

Your Impact

• Develop a business architecture strategy and methodology for capturing the key views of the enterprise
• Define the set of strategic, core, and support processes that transcend functional and organizational boundaries
• Delivers measurable business process improvements while re-engineering key processes and capabilities and maps to future-state vision
• Collaborate with business leaders, IT product managers, and operations teams to identify and evaluate high impact process initiatives
• Lead cross-functional process improvement initiatives with disciplined, multi-tier process improvement methods
• Create process and procedure documentation, including value stream maps, workflow charts, and capabilities matrix documents
• Develop performance metrics to establish process success and work cross-functionally to consistently and accurately measure success over time
• Review post-implementation data to measure success - participates in defining standards for improving success

Qualifications

​​​​​​Your Experience

• 15+ years of progressive experience in the Business Process area
• A broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and a solid understanding of business processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and business outcomes
• Expertise in areas such as Install to Renew (Professional services, Customer Success, Customer Service, Renewals)  
• Understanding of enterprise applications such as Salesforce and SAP
• Strong understanding of business operations and IT functions in enterprise software / SaaS product companies
• The ability to recognize structural issues within the organization, functional interdependencies, and cross-silo redundancies
• Experience modeling & visualizing business processes using a variety of tools and techniques to mature the business architecture posture
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization - this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations
• Successfully led complex enterprise design/process improvement efforts
• Proven knowledge of design/improvement tools and techniques
• Business thinking and highly strategic in order to define practical solutions and supporting business cases that align with the business objectives
• Solid business process redesign experience required - experience from a top consulting firm or Six Sigma certification preferred
